Description:Magic Light Productions put out casting call for 2020/21 pantomime at Theatr Colwyn - Goldilocks and the Three Bears.A TALENT search has started ahead of Theatr Colwyn's annual pantomime! Magic Light Productions is looking for performers to join their 2020/21 pantomime Goldilocks and the Three Bears. With many seats for show already snapped up, there is one very important missing ingredient, the golden girl herself - Goldilocks! The successful applicant will star alongside returning favourites. The casting call is an acting role for a female performer, age range 18 years to 30 years with a good singing ability and basic dance skills. Performing experience / training is desired, but not necessarily essential. Applicants must be able to make themselves available from Wednesday, December 9 2020 until Saturday, January 2 2021. The performance run is December 19 2020 until January 2 2021, with a maximum of two shows a day. A spokesperson for Magic Light Productions said: "This is a paid role in a professional production. "We are very much looking forward to seeing who’s out there. These auditions will enable us to give home grown talent a chance to shine - just like Goldie’s locks." Other performers are also required who may be able to play various other roles in future pantomimes / productions. The spokesperson added: "These auditions will give us a chance to meet local talent and increase our ever growing company of artists. Singing, dancing, comedy, puppetry and circus skills are all of great interest to us, and if you excel at any of these techniques, we would love to see you." Auditions will be held on Saturday, February 29 from 5pm at Theatr Colwyn, Abergele Rd, Colwyn Bay. All successful applicants will be contacted with further audition details.
