Description of the organization
Through acrobatics, the Chinese pole and the dance David Soubies and Agnès Fustagueras develop a singular language in the service of the writings of today's circus. Driven by the common desire to use acrobatics as a mode of scenic expression, and always be at the heart of a narrative, they cross aesthetics without departing from the specificity of circus art .

For its new creation "FAÇADE" 2020 the Daraomaï Company is looking for two circus artists, specialized in Chinese Mast and Acrodanse.
With "FAÇADE" the Company wishes to observe the private / public limit. Are we the same person inside and outside? This border will be represented by an original circus apparatus, a Chinese mast assembly forming a 4.50 m high window.
This quartet will be formed by two circus artists and two corporal actors / musicians.
"FAÇADE" will be mainly used on the street, for a minimum of three seasons, and more if affinity.
Description of the profile sought
- Artist, Female or Male. our shows (are mainly exploited in the south of France)
- Available and committed to the creation and operation of the project.
- Technical mastery of the Chinese Mast discipline
- Ability to evolve on the ground in Acrodanse. The technical level in Acrobatics / Acrobatics is not the most important, however fluidity and choreographic sense will be required.
- Cat or Monkey? The apparatus is multidisciplinary, it has 4 fixed bars connecting the 3 Chinese mast. The artist must be able to evolve on these fixed bars in "legs of monkeys" in an animal way.
- Ability to assimilate a body language made of movement to the masts and movements on the ground. Individual choreographies, duet, quartet, from everyday gesture to acro or mast tricks.
- A commitment to bodily actor acting, at Buster Keaton, is the situation and actions of the body / bodies that speak.
- The apparatus will be sounded sampled and treated live. A big precision work on the rhythm and the musical listening will be asked + dialogues sounds / movements where the musicians follow the actions of the actors or the opposite.
- The musical skills of each will be exploited
- The skills fildeféristiques will be welcome but not essential
