Job offer | Circus animator (School workshops)
Under the supervision of the coordination, the animator at the introductory circus arts workshops has the main task of introducing the clientele to the different circus techniques.

Brief description of tasks:

Supervise the animation of a group of children in the different circus techniques as part of the concept of the School's initiation workshops (max. 12 participants).
Manage the group of young people (supervision) to ensure their safety and ensure the smooth running of the workshops.
Requirements :

Ability to speak in front of an audience / experience in customer service
Love children and have a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Good knowledge of French.
Comfortable working in a team.
Have the right to work in Canada.
Assets :

Experience in animation, day camp or teaching with children from 5 to 12 years old.
Have training first
Knowledge of one or more techniques related to the circus field or in a similar field (juggling, gymnastics, dance, etc.)
Ability to speak English.
Ongoing training in one of the following fields: animation and cultural research, recreation, leisure techniques, theater, physical activities, teaching, games, pedagogy and other fields
Working conditions :

Basic training in circus techniques AND in animation techniques given by the employer.
November to Possibility of approx. 12 to 20 hours per week depending on the season. Work schedule between 9:45 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. Start as soon as possible.
Flexible and malleable schedule, depending on the preferences and availability of the employee. Perfect for completing another job, for students or even as a first job.
Salary according to experience and internal policies in effect, starting at $15/hour.

Possibility of full-time employment for the summer with day camps.
