IMPORTANT NOTICE – PLEASE READ: Performers must be local to the Central Florida area to be considered for these roles. We are seeking to fill seasonal roles from these auditions, which requires weekly availability beginning late September through January 1, 2023.


Disney Live Entertainment is seeking performers of all races, ethnicities, and genders, who are local to the Orlando, FL area, for Character and Parade Performer roles performing in Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. We are looking for dynamic, energetic performers who are interested, and available, to perform for the 2022 Holiday season at the Walt Disney World® Resort in Orlando.

Accepting submissions now through July 8.


Seeking the following roles and heights:

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade

Character Performers: 4’8” – 6’2”, all races, ethnicities, and genders to bring to life Disney Characters, Toy Soldiers, Reindeer, Toy Factory characters, and more. These roles require athletic and cardio endurance, physical story-telling abilities, and strong performance energy.

Parade Dancers: 5’3” – 6’1”, all races, ethnicities, and genders to perform in dancing roles within the parade. Performers need training and experience in dance and performance. These roles require athletic and cardio endurance, physical story-telling abilities, and strong performance energy.

All roles require performers to be outside during all events, which includes exposure to warm and humid weather. Many roles require bringing large costumes to life, which demands athletic endurance and high energy.

Audition Submission Instruction:

**All video submissions must be received no later than Friday, July 8, 2022**

Step One: Disney Auditions Profile Set-up

At the top of our homepage, click MY PROFILE to create or update your profile
Upload your headshot (or current profile photo), and any other desired information
Please also upload the following three photos:
Front facing headshot photo, from the waist up
Front facing full-body shot
Side facing profile shot

Step Two: Audition Video submission

• Select either the intermediate choreography or advanced choreography options from these links:

Intermediate movement
Advanced movement

• The video begins with a demo, followed by detailed instructions and audition tips
• Film yourself performing the routine – please make sure the video is in landscape, and that you are center stage. Please ensure you have good lighting so we can see you clearly.
• Upload your video to a sharing site like YouTube or Vimeo – if using YouTube, please mark the video as “unlisted”
• Copy and paste the link to your video into your Disney Audition profile, under the “Links” section, and label your link as “Holidays 2022 audition”

Step Three: Audition Check-in

• Visit www.checkin.disneyauditions.com or click here: Check-In Site. Select the audition: Walt Disney World: Christmas Parade Performers
• Take your selfie when prompted to complete the registration process
• You’re all set! No further action is needed.
• In-person callbacks will be held in Orlando in late July. Invites will be emailed by than July 20


Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States
• Must live local to the Orlando area and have reliable transportation to work
• Must have regular (weekly) availability from late September – January 1, 2023
• Current/active WDW Character Performers should not submit to this audition
• WDW DCP students are not eligible for this audition, unless your program ends prior to October 1, 2022
