Description:

All new performers must complete a virtual audition. Instructions on how to submit your virtual audition will arrive in a separate email within 24hours of completing your application.


Basic Requirements:


Must be at least 18 years of age
Seeking Male Vocalist, Bass, Baritone, and Tenor, diverse backgrounds welcome
Must be able to work from 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM, may vary on selected nights, and event nights and during some rehearsals
Must be able to disclose accurate availability for all rehearsal and event dates
Must be able to play a convincing character in a variety of settings
Costumes will be provided by Busch Gardens and will remain the property of Busch Gardens
Must be able to stand and perform up your assigned character each night and able to lift and carry the weight of the costume during the performance
Performance may include long periods of standing
Must be able to transition from working indoors and to working outdoors, in varying Florida weather, to include extreme heat while in costume
Must be flexible in work locations as placement will depend on business needs
Must be able to perform while wearing assigned protective facial covering


Job Responsibilities:


Creating a realistic character experience for families at Busch Gardens Christmas Town
Consistently performing the same experience repetitively throughout the night of the event
Being responsible for clocking in and out at the beginning and end of assigned shifts
Taking and implementing direction from persons of authority
Maintaining a tidy and safe work area
Maintain a professional demeanor while working with a diverse group of customers, leadership and co-workers
Perform other duties as assigned based on business need
