An acclaimed theatrical production team is currently seeking a dynamic performer to join the cast of a highly anticipated, interactive Halloween spectacle. Now in its fourth successful year in Toronto, this immersive event draws inspiration from the whimsical and macabre universe of Tim Burton. Guests are treated to an evening featuring themed cocktails, gourmet treats, engaging games, unique photo opportunities, and captivating live entertainment. The team is specifically looking for an actor to serve as an alternate for the iconic role of Beetlejuice. The ideal candidate will possess a commanding stage presence, exceptional charisma, and a strong background in musical theatre, comedic performance, improvisation, and character work. Compensation for this role is set at $25 per hour for all scheduled performances and rehearsals. To be considered, applicants must submit a self-tape audition featuring two distinct selections: 1. A cut from “The Whole ‘Being Dead’ Thing” from *Beetlejuice: The Musical*.
2. A spooky or Halloween-themed song of your choosing (from genres such as rock, pop, or musical theatre) that effectively highlights your unique personality, vocal prowess, and performance capabilities. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is successfully filled.
