Casting singing gondoliers, which are the icons of The Venetian Hotel and Gondola Attraction. The Stationary Singing Gondolier is a vital part of the entertainment operation of the indoor and outdoor gondola attractions. They are strategically located near the indoor and outdoor canals and serenade the guests inside the gondolas. This position will operate 7 days a week, 4-hour shifts.

The responsibilities of this position are as follows:

Must be able to sing and project a capella
Have an outgoing personality, enjoy interacting with guests and visitors
Gondoliers are to alternate vocal performance to sing every other rotation
Gondoliers are to perform approved Italian selections only
Gondoliers MUST stay in character and maintain a professional demeanor during the entire duration of the shift
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Candidates should possess the following:

Previous entertainment performance history
Willingness to learn an Italian accent
Must be able to work flexible hours; including holidays and weekends
Ability to stand for long periods
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
Must have reliable transportation
Ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers, management, employees, and clients
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Seasonal- Part-time/On-call positions available
Non-exempt- hourly; paid bi-weekly
Rate: Competitive hourly
