ACT International Festival For Emerging Performing Artists 2024



Open Call until December 15, 2023



ACT is an annual festival that, for the duration of four days, brings together around a hundred of participants and guests from all over the world.



The festival has four main sections: the pedagogical program, ACTmosfera encounters, the exhibition shows, and the short pieces contest. The call for this last one is now open to companies and proposals that want to apply and participate in the festival.



To participate in the call, it is essential to send a video of the piece. It can be a work in progress or a rehearsal, but not a teaser. The final pieces must be a maximum of 30 minutes without exception.



The festival offers Accommodation-in shared rooms- for the performers and the necessary technical equipment; breakfasts, lunches, and dinners are also included in the invitation, as well as the passes for all the activities that take place during the 4 days of the festival: workshops, talks and all the shows programmed in the festival.



The festival is not responsible for transportation expenses; they must be assumed by the company or institutions contacted by the company.



Prizes




ACT Award consisting of 2,000 € for the production of a new project and an invitation to the next edition of the festival to present the winning piece and/or a new work under development.

ACT-DURI Korea Award to the best international emerging artist, consisting of the opportunity to present a performance at the Duri Dance Theater in Seoul.

ACT Artistic Residency. 15-day residency with accommodation.
