Accepting applications on an ongoing basis. Current openings are for Permanent Staff and Visiting Instructor positions beginning in early 2018.

AirCraft Aerial Arts, located in Boston, USA (Somerville) since 2009, is a welcoming center for aerial arts – including silks/tissu, rope/corde, trapeze, hoop/lyra, etc.) and circus fitness training. We offer classes at all levels, private training, visiting artist workshops, and occasional performances. We remain committed to providing a safe and fun space for people to challenge themselves, regardless of gender identity or national origin.

Advanced Silks/Tissu Instructor (Permanent Staff)
Teach Tissu/Silks to an advanced level (adults). All additional skills are of interest. Highly desirable additional skills include rope/corde, straps, sling/hammock, static trapeze, single-point trapeze.

Visiting Aerial Instructor (at least 2 months; length of contract negotiable)
- Areas of specialization open. Teach to advanced level (adults) in at least one of the following: rope/corde, tissu/silks, static trapeze, straps, sling/hammock. All additional skills are of interest.

Applicants for either position should have several years of experience teaching aerial arts. A strong performance background is a plus. We are looking for individuals with strong aerial skills, a great teaching record focused on technique and body awareness, and a desire to be part of a creative, offbeat environment that fosters personal connection.
