About us: Rocky Mountain Flying Trapeze is the first and only club in all of Alberta offering instruction in the circus sport of Flying Trapeze. We are a non-profit organization committed to ensuring that Flying Trapeze instruction to the community is affordable and sustainable in Calgary for years to come, so that all those who love to fly have a place to gather together to learn, encourage and motivate each other.

Job duties: We are looking for someone with talent and experience in flying trapeze, to be part of our team. The Flying Trapeze Instructor is expected to teach the skills and points necessary for the flying trapeze to participants of all ages. The Flying Trapeze Instructor will also be responsible for training beginner instructors to proficiency in the areas of catch, pulling lines and board work.

Skills requirements: The Flying Trapeze Instructor must have extensive prior experience teaching and performing in resorts, camps, or at any other flying trapeze school. Candidate must be a seasoned flying trapeze instructor who can catch, pull lines and work the board, and train beginner instructors in these areas.

Terms of employment: Seasonal position from May 2019 to September 2019

Hours of work: 25-30 hours per week, Variable weekdays/evenings/weekends.

Wage: $20-30/hour CAD Negotiable based on experience

Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in Canada (ie. Canadian citizen, landed immigrant, or eligible to obtain valid work permit)
