Description:
The general call for residencies for the 2025-2026 season is open until midnight on 19 January 2025. Applications for the specific “ Ecriture en Campagne ” call will be accepted in February 2025.
Latitude 50 offers creative residencies in theaters or at the table, as well as five creative support programs that can be activated based on the company's needs:

Practical information
The residencies are open to Belgian and international companies active in the circus and street arts sector, as well as to artists from various disciplines whose creative project has circus and street arts as its main focus.
The residency lasts one to two weeks, with the possibility to receive the company several times during the creation. The working hours are flexible. The residency includes accommodation in Latitude 50.
Meals are paid for by the party, a kitchen and equipment are provided and La Table de Latitude 50 is open Monday to Friday during lunchtime.
Each resident must also assume a minimum level of responsibility (maintenance of the premises and equipment, tidying up, respect for others and their work, etc.)
Free workspaces are provided. Accommodation costs (electricity, heating and water) are covered by Latitude 50. Travel expenses are paid by the company.
It is quite a challenge to combine the life of an artist with parenthood. Latitude 50 is aware of this problem and driven by the desire to offer artists the best possible support, it works on practical solutions that can be implemented at their own level. Want to know more?
We work with Le Stampia, Pôle Culturel des Baladins du Miroir in Jodoigne (Be), for long-term residencies and itinerant projects. In the context of these cross-residencies at Le Stampia, applications should be sent to Latitude 50, but companies are subject to Le Stampia's hosting regulations.
