Description:

A circus creation centre in Barcelona invites proposals for its 2027 residency programme supporting research and creation in contemporary circus. Eleven projects will be selected from individual artists or companies at any career stage, local, national or international, with special attention to local proposals.

Research and creation residencies offer eight weeks in a creation studio, EUR 6,000 (taxes included) and artistic, technical and management support. A technical residency offers two weeks, a public presentation in a 100-seat hall and EUR 2,000 for a show premiering in 2027 or early 2028. Community creation and thought residencies are also available, and two selected projects may join two-week cross-residencies in Vilnius or Porto. Accommodation is not provided.
