Description:Randolph Entertainment is seeking an experienced Backstage Manager for its ongoing production of Teatro ZinZanni. This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits. Starting salary is $40,000.00 per annum.The Backstage Manager; Keep daily notes on the production needs from rehearsal and apply them to the production paperwork for the run of the show Call all artists for rehearsal Track all restaurant notes Work with PSM to ensure that the block and rehearsal schedule aligns with performer and restaurant needs Work with PSM and the rest of the stage management team to ensure that all performers and staff understand emergency procedures and policies Run and maintain show as built by the creative team Help create a healthy and positive work environment for the run of the show Coordinate with restaurant the opening of the tent each night Repair and Maintain any scenic element or prop that is needed for the show during the show, as possible. Keep production notes up to date regarding prop repairs and maintenance. Work with PSM, SM, & LBSM to adjust the show if needed. Work with the PSM to lead an evacuation and emergency plan Perform or delegate all manipulation and storage of scenery and props inside venue including cleaning, maintenance, spike marks, safety checks Able to operate the winch for nightly performances in its operation Assure that all new waitstaff receive the proper training documentation and work with restaurant management to track new hires and to teach them all of their production – related responsibilities Assure the stage management team and the other backstage managers are aware of any show and policy changes throughout the show run Qualifications: 3 years professional stage crew or stage management experience Excellent organizational skills Able to communicate verbally in a stressful situation Must perform in a professional manner at all times, maintaining a positive attitude and providing positive public relations Accountable. Able to be present and on time for meetings, rehearsal and show calls. Ability to work well under pressure and be able to meet deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy. Ability to utilize fine and gross motor skills consistently and accurately, specifically when flying an artist on the winch system.
