Israel Akpan Sunday is auditioning two dancers (Male and Female) for his upcoming theater dance production titled AFROCONFUSIONIST.
Profile dancer:
Open to try out new approaches, experienced in contemporary or urban styles and expressive in talking
Creation period: March – April 2022 (working hours mostly within Monday-Friday)
Performance Dates: 29.04.-04.05.2022 at Sprechwerk Theater Hamburg (Germany)
Contract: Freelancer contract. Fully payed job. Details via Mail.

AFROCONFUSIONIST is a poetic jam session that combines dance and music with philosophical and political thoughts, based on an intensive examination of the term afro, its origin, its present meaning, and its relevancy for different societies.
AFROCONFUSIONIST is a production by Israel Akpan Sunday, produced by FAMILY PRODUCTION in collaboration with Apricot Productions and supported by the Hamburg Ministry of Culture.
