Description:On the 22nd and 23rd of February 2025, ICK Dans Amsterdam holds an audition for contemporary dancers with high technical skills (from ballet to urban) who are in their graduation year, just graduated or self-taught, to integrate in the junior company (ICK-Next).Where: Amsterdam, the Netherlands When: 22 & 23 February 2025 Deadline for applications: 13 February 2025 On the 22 February 2025, ICK Dans Amsterdam holds an audition for contemporary dancers with high technical skills (from ballet to urban) who are in their graduation year, just graduated or self-taught, to integrate in the junior company (ICK-Next). ICK is looking for dancers who are curious about the intuitively moving body and open to new innovative forms in the performing arts. ICK values diversity and seeks dancers of all nationalities and ethnicities. The dancers selected on 22 February 2025 will be called back on 23 February 2025. ABOUT ICK-NEXT The junior company is an initiative of Emio Greco| Pieter C. Scholten and ICK Dans Amsterdam. The Next stand for the next generation of dancers in the arts field. During one year, selected dancers, each with their own individuality and diversity, follow a curriculum aiming to develop their performance skills while focusing on research, development, gaining work experience in the studio, in site specific projects and on the stage. Each season, a specific program is put together in which the ICK-Next dancers can participate in major performances of directors Emio Greco| Pieter Scholten, collaborate in experimental workshops, experience the Double Skin/Double Mind dance method, and take part in ICK Academy education and research activities. Together with the ICK Ensemble they form the heart of ICK’s home base: Space for Dance Art. WHO? Dance students (f/m/x) in their last year of education, recently graduated dancers (as a post graduated program) and self-taught dancers. For people outside EU, you need to have a valid visa that allows you to stay in the Netherlands from August 2025 until August 2026. WHEN? The audition takes place on 22 February 2025 (with an eventual call back on 23 February 2025). WHERE?
