Description:

Under the leadership of the Artistic Director, the Associate Artistic Director is a partner in the long-range planning and day-to-day artistic and academic operations of the Vocal Arts department, with a particular focus on overseeing the undergraduate Vocal Arts curriculum. Responsibilities include working closely with the Artistic Director to select repertoire, tracking student artistic and professional development, coaching and student advisement, and assisting in assigning casting and performance opportunities for all undergraduate singers. This position attends performances and rehearsals as appropriate to ensure students are making strides and have what they need to be successful. This position also works closely with the Vocal Arts Staff, Voice Faculty, Vocal Arts Faculty, and guest artists to ensure that undergraduate students are receiving an appropriate, well-rounded, individualized, and equitable artistic and educational experience.
