CROWNS - Assistant Stage Manager

Moonbox Productions is seeking an Assistant Stage Manager for CROWNS, performing April 12 - May 4, 2025 at Arrow Street Arts, 2 Arrow Street, Cambridge, MA 02138

Show Dates:

Rehearsal Period: March 3, 2025 - April 11, 2025

Load in and Tech: May 31, 2025 - April 11, 2025

Performance Dates: April 12, 2025 - May 4, 2025


Fee: $2700 gross (W2)

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist the Production Stage Manager with all day to day responsibilities

Assist the SM in ensuring the stage is organized, cleaned, swept and mopped, and ready for actors

ASM may be on book during rehearsals, as requested by the PSM

Run the deck during tech rehearsals and oversee the backstage during tech and performances

Ensure safety protocols are met for all actors and crew, including fire safety for onstage props

Have a complete understanding of the placement and movement of scenic elements and props for all rehearsals, tech, and performances

Train and oversee any run crew during tech and performances

Assist the PSM in the re-set of the stage between each rehearsal or performance


Employees are responsible for their own transportation and local housing.
