The Assistant Production Managers role is primarily based in London and will provide practical onsite support to the Production Managers and project-based support across all our projects. The ideal candidate is self-motivated with excellent organisation and communication skills and on-site practical experience. A passion for theatre and event is essential. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build on their knowledge of every aspect of theatre and event management. Key Responsibilities To act as Assistant Production Manager and Proxy Production Manager / Technical Director for productions, as allocated by the Company Directors anywhere in the world. To work as a Production Manager for events, as allocated by the directors anywhere in the world. To work with the Production Managers on planning and costing of projects. To work with Production Managers, Creative Teams and Clients to realise projects within allocated budgets and resources. To produce risk assessments and other key documents work as appropriate. Attend rehearsals as required. To plan and manage project fit ups, production periods, on-going maintenance and get outs for allocated projects. To ensure that all operations are carried out in compliance with relevant and applicable Health & Safety legislation and any other applicable statutory regulations or legislation. Arrange clear transportation plans for projects as appropriate. Assist with recruitment of project team members. Driving Drive the company van Location When not on-site the position is based in the office (SE1 6BD) and studio (CR0 4TQ) during normal work hours 9am to 6pm and to undertake onsite hours during evenings and weekends as required by the needs of the business. Willingness to work anywhere in the UK as required. Willingness to travel internationally when opportunities arise.
