CDE is seeking an assistant lighting designer and board operator for our upcoming production "Tethering in Wander Land" a collaborative performance and art exhibition. We are looking for someone to assist our designer, learn our ETC Nomad board, how we put on shows at CDE, and who will be able to help us as we expand our programming. We are looking for people who are interested in building long-term relationships.
Dates and Times: Oct. 27: 1:00-10:00 p.m.
Oct. 28, 29, 30(dress rehearsal) : 6:00- 10:00 p.m.
Performances: Nov. 1, 2, 8, 9- 8pm show- 6pm call time
On Oct. 29 and 30th, our Lighting Designer/Technical Director, has been called away for a touring obligation, the person we hire, will take over the show.
We are also hoping that whomever we hire, will also be able to continue to work at our theater for our future productions and with our subsized rentals program.
Compensation: This is an independent contractor position. $400 for board operations and $350 for designer fee: total $750. Ideally, we are looking for one person for both positions but if you are unable, please specify.
