Compensation: Minimum $20 / hour (based on previous education experience)


Schedule:

-Part Time
-Camp programs: 3 hours per day for one week, every other month.
-Weekly programs: 9:30a-Noon on Fridays for 7 weeks.
-Minimum of one program per every other month.

KC Aerial Arts has been teaching aerial circus skills classes since 2013, located in Town Center Plaza, of Leawood, KS. This year we will begin teaching ground circus skills to youth in underserved communities. The program will focus on teaching emotional regulation and goal setting skills.

We are looking for assistant instructors to assist lead instructors with delivering curriculum and classroom management.

You will be responsible for helping to create a fun and safe learning environment where students will learn early/first lesson ground circus skills.

Qualifications:

-3+ years experience teaching/coaching skills to participants/students in an education, arts or organized sports environment

-Experience in a movement based activity in a classroom setting (ex: dance, gymnastics, juggling, circus, yoga, etc.)

-Excellent interpersonal communication skills with students and team members
Education Instruction or childcare experience is a plus, but not required
