Berkshire Theatre Group, celebrating its 97th year as a professional theatre in Western MA, is accepting resumes for an Assistant Audio + Projections Supervisor for the 2025 summer season. The festival will have five fully produced productions, plus concerts and special events on two stages. Weekly salary of $725 plus housing and all utilities provided. Summer season runs from mid May until mid/late August. Employment dates vary based on position.

The Colonial Theatre, founded in 1903, and Berkshire Theatre Festival, founded in 1928, are two of the oldest cultural organizations in the Berkshires. In 2010, under the leadership of Artistic Director and CEO Kate Maguire, the two organizations merged to form Berkshire Theatre Group (BTG). Berkshire Theatre Group's mission is to support wide ranging artistic exploration and acclaimed performances in theatre, dance, music and entertainment. Every year, BTG produces and presents performances to over 68,000 attendees and, through our Educational Program, serves over 11,000 Berkshire County school children annually. In July 2020, Berkshire Theatre was the first company in the United States to earn approval from Actors+rsquo; Equity Association to produce a musical (Godspell) in the wake of the COVID-19 Pandemic. In 2028, Berkshire Theatre will celebrate 100 years of making theatre.

This position reports to: The Audio + Projections Supervisor and ultimately, the Director of Productions.

Qualifications:
Required
- Google Suite understanding (Google Drive, Docs, Sheets)
- Proficient experience in theatre sound sound related fields
- Basic networking knowledge (understanding of how to configure and connect devices to a network to communicate)
- Qlab 4 + 5 knowledge and audio programming skills
- Rigging experience.
- Yamaha and Midas mixing console experience
- Vectorworks drafting experience
- Audio + Video Block Diagram drafting/reading skills

Preferred
- Level 2 Dante certification
- OSC programming experience
- Qlab projections programming knowledge
- Previous experience supervising a crew and leading work calls
- Extension ladder and genie lift operation experience
- Projections knowledge (Epson + Panasonic)

Responsibilities:
- Maintain + manage the audio + projections department calendars, work calls and schedules.
- Track department hours.
- Create and send weekly schedule emails to the department.
- Assist designers as needed with the programming of shows.
- Assist with the linking of cues between departments if needed.
- Sit in technical rehearsals as required.
- Attend all production meetings and take notes.
- Track + update task lists as needed.
- Communicate and prepare all paperwork in conjunction with the production sound and designers
- +ldquo;Hands+rdquo; as needed for any audio + projections department calls (load-ins, load-outs, calibration, hang).
- Assist or lead other projects as assigned (ex. inventory, rewiring speakers, research on new gear).
- Assist with any summer concerts/events and other related projects as needed.

- Effectively and efficiently communicate within the audio + projections department as well as with other departments, designers and directors.
- Collaborate with coworkers on assigned tasks.
- Maintain an organized audio + projections department
- Answer any question about sound or projections for all summer production.
- Communicate information to other staff in the department.
- Handle pressure professionally in high stress situations.
- Lead work calls as assigned.
- Be self-sufficient in tasks assigned.
- Read all production scripts.
- Be flexible on job assignments.
- Collaborate with the Audio + Projections Supervisor to improve policies and procedures utilized by yourself and others.
- Represent the organization appropriately and abide by the mission statement.
