Tanz+ Zwicky is hiring an Artistic Director of Urban Dance to lead our program, develop dance talent, and grow a strong urban dance community.

Where: Dübendorf / Zürich, Switzerland

When: 1 December 2024 or upon agreement

Deadline for applications: 31 Nov. 2024

Tanz+ Zwicky seeks a visionary Artistic Director to lead and grow our Urban Dance department. You will develop world-class programs, nurture talent, and manage a team of instructors.
Responsibilities include curriculum design, choreography, overseeing classes, competitive dance team management, marketing, and community building.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in urban dance and choreography, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in competitive dance and program development.

Qualifications:
Master’s in Choreography or related field (e.g., MA Choreography, ZHdK – Zurich University of the Arts). Swiss degrees are prioritised.

Higher education in economics, business administration, and/or international relations, preferably with an emphasis on dance and arts (e.g., BSc International Trade).

Experience in dance instruction, choreography, and arts management.

Proven experience in curating dance festivals and events.

A successful track record in project writing, budgeting, and fundraising.

Experience working with diverse funding bodies.
