Over the past ten years, the Rotterdam Circusstad Foundation has grown into a multidisciplinary circus institution. The foundation stands for the new circus theater, which has taken off in the Netherlands with the arrival of two important international circus courses. Rotterdam Circusstad is the driving force behind countless circus projects, both on a professional level and on a social level. The most eye-catching project is the annual Circusstad Festival, where a wide range of national and international top circus is shown. With the departure of founder Maaike van Langen, the Rotterdam Circusstad Foundation is looking for a new artistic director.
