Description:
SALARY: $50,000
Provide Artistic Direction for Aerheart (professional performance company). Cast Aerheart Company. Direct rehearsals as needed.
Operate Kansas City Aerial Arts Training Company for Students and Apprentice members. Cast Training Company per each project. 1-2 feature productions and numerous small events throughout the year. Provide Artistic Direction and select choreographers for all Training Company projects. Select coaching assignments for Act Development Classes.
Run rehearsals for weekly Training Company rehearsals and assign coaches and apprentices for supporting roles.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
Coach 6+ classes per week in Beginner, Trapeze, Silks, Lyra, Youth, Pre Teen aerial skills in addition to Program Director responsibilities. Ground skills, Flexibility and Conditioning classes options as well.
Coach 4 Act Dev classes per week for Training Company.
Supervise 1 two hour rehearsal per week for Training Company.
25 hours per week of prep or show work.
