National Dance Company Wales is looking for a visionary Artistic Director to lead the company in achieving its mission to make great dance with and for all kinds of people in all kinds of places and our core purpose to create programmes which resonate with the diverse communities of Wales. We aspire to ignite an interest in dance with the widest range of promoters; building large, broader audiences for dance.
We seek a creative leader with a compelling, distinctive vision for the future of this repertory contemporary dance company and who will provide outstanding artistic leadership. The Artistic Director will curate inspirational programmes of work, enthusing company members, audiences and participants with the transformational power of dance.
A strong collaborator, you will be an experienced curator of dance, creative producer, programmer, choreographer, or from another creative background in dance.
This is a full-time permanent position based in Cardiff.
Salary £50-£55,000 a year
