Description:

A major Italian opera foundation in Verona has opened auditions for male and female corps de ballet dancers. Successful candidates join a merit list used for fixed-term and summer festival hires, so passing does not guarantee a contract.

The starting grade pays a fixed gross salary of about 1,748 euros a month plus national-contract extras. No diploma is required. Applicants must be adults, medically fit, speak adequate Italian and have a clean record. The audition covers classical technique and repertoire variations.
