Under the supervision of the coordination, the animator at the introductory circus arts workshops has the main task of introducing the clientele to the various circus techniques.



Brief description of tasks:

Lead a group of children in the different circus techniques as part of the concept of the School's initiation workshops (max. 12 participants).
Manage the group of young people (supervision) to ensure their safety and ensure the smooth running of the workshops.
Requirements :

Experience in animation, day camp, teaching or other with children.
Love children and have a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Good knowledge of French.
Comfortable working in a team.
Will be considered as major assets:

Hold or be in the process of obtaining a college and/or university degree in one of the following fields: animation and cultural research, recreation, leisure techniques, theater, physical activities, teaching and other related fields.
Have first aid training.
Training in theatre, acting and pedagogy.
Knowledge of one or more techniques related to the circus field or in a similar field (juggling, gymnastics, dance, etc.)
Ability to speak English
Working conditions :

Basic training in circus technique given by the employer.
November to June. Possibility of approx. 12 to 20 hours per week depending on the season. Working hours between 9:45 a.m. and 2:45 p.m.
Flexible hours to employee preference
Salary according to experience and internal policies in force.
