Who we are: State Climb is a non-profit Rock Climbing and Aerial Arts facility, located in Culpeper Virginia, that is leading the industry as a healthy and safe space for youth and adults to stay physically active while building a strong community. We do so by providing indoor rock climbing and aerial arts programming in an affordable, safe, and drug-free space. In which everyone is able to participate no matter their physical or economic standing. Our "Pay What You Like" payment model allows everyone to participate in activities that have traditionally high economic barriers to entry. We are reframing what it means to be part of a community by encouraging everyone to contribute what they are able to, including non-monetary assets such as time and energy. Everyone deserves to reap the mental, emotional, and physical benefits of rock climbing and aerial arts, and we're growing our team!
We are flexible in helping you create a schedule that works for you.
State Climb is open seven days a week. Monday-Friday from 3:00 to 10:00 PM, and Saturday-Sunday from 10:00-8:00.
Our 42 foot ceilings and large open floor plans allow us to provide a unique experience for our aerialists and climbers. Our aerial rig allows us to reach others in surrounding communities while taking our craft outside.
We are also leading in Adventure Aerials and provide our community with unique opportunities to connect their passion for aerial arts with the beauty that nature provides for a stunning background.
We are fully insured and have a fantastic facility with over 50 aerialists taking classes on a regular basis.

Requirements:
Position:
An ideal candidate loves teaching and sharing what they do with a wide variety of people from ages eight to adult. They will have experience in various Aerial Arts apparatus, such as but not limited to; Aerial Silks, Aerial Ropes, Aerial Hammock, and/or Lyra. They are excited to pursue our mission of promoting social, mental, and emotional health through physical activity and community engagement. This is an excellent opportunity for someone that wants to be part of building a positive and inclusive Aerialist community.

Additional Information:
Compensation: Part-Time position.
Rates are $30/hour.
The candidate would be expected to fill 10-15 hours per week.
