Description:DESCRIPTIONBeautiful Noise First LLC is seeking an AEA 1st Assistant Stage Manager for the National Tour of A Beautiful Noise. The AEA 1st Assistant Stage Manager provides support and assists the Stage Manager for the tour. Start date is flexible but will be on or around March 17th. Assistant Stage Manager Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: · Assisting PSM in: o Maintaining the artistic integrity of the production according to the director’s vision. o Managing rehearsal process (replacements and current cast) o Updates technical documentation o Managing/running technical rehearsals o Scheduling daily, weekly and long-term aspects of the show o Drafting and proofing reports · Calls all show cues (including deck, rail, automation, lighting, and audio) · Run and maintain several deck tracks ensuring safety of actors and crew and training local crew members on cues · Must be able to be on their feet throughout the show and traverse several flights of stairs (spread throughout the show) · Ability to run focus (both conventional and moving light) in coordination with the road and local electricians · Maintain a positive attitude and demeanor as a member of the road management team · Adhere to and uphold show safety protocols and drug free workplace policies · Other duties as assigned, depending on show-specific needs Qualifications and Experience • Minimum 3 years touring stage management experience • Must be a member of the Actor’s Equity Association • Ability to build and maintain relationships with co-workers and venue personnel • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task • Ability to maintain poise and control under pressure • Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a demanding workload • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Dropbox • The ability to step into PSM position to cover vacations, PDs, and sick days Touring Agreement Salary, Level 5: 1st Assistant Stage Manager $ 1,346 Submission Instructions: Please submit your resume, cover letter, and 3 references via form at: https://app.smartsheet.com/b/f...
