Located in the heart of Marseille in the 2nd arrondissement, the Théâtre Joliette - an approved art and creation scene, has established itself as a place of national reference for artistic production and dissemination.
Appointed in September 2022, Nathalie Huerta is developing an artistic project focused on diversity and relationships with Others.
The programming, open to the international world, echoes the world and social issues and gives a special place to writing for young people and regional artists. It wishes to develop access to new audiences and encourage the emergence of innovative, civic and sustainable artistic actions, particularly aimed at younger generations. In a desire to sustainably establish artistic permanence and the immersion of artists in the territory, Nathalie Huerta is offering five artistic companionships for three years (20232026): Elise Vigneron from the Théâtre de l'entrouvert, Karin Holmström from the Begat Theater, Tamara Al Saadi from La Base Company, Jérôme de Falloise actor (Raoul Collectif, La Brute, Le Nimis Groupe) and Métie Navajo, author.
