The story: Stella and Adèle, two 17-year-old friends, spend yet another night perched on the roof of their building. Stella no longer speaks to her father following the death of her mother. Adèle has been waiting for several days for news from her boyfriend who ran away from home. Obsessed by their personal concerns, the two girls spend nights together dreaming of a better life. They invent stories about the lives of the people they see through the still-lit windows and balconies of the buildings opposite. They make fun of the despair of others so as not to think about the fragility of their own stories. But this night will be different.
