We are casting for two female-presenting performers of young playing age to tour schools in Doncaster for three weeks in January/February 2025. Job Requirements Responsibilities: Research and understand characters to portray them with depth and authenticity Collaborate with directors, producers, choreographers, and fellow actors in rehearsals Adapt performances based on feedback from directors or audiences Utilise improvisational skills during rehearsals when necessary Sustain professionalism throughout all aspects of production while working under pressure You will need to love performing and working with children and have an interest in education! Salary You will be paid £550-600 per working week Mon-Fri 8am - 4pm; we will also provide and pay for accommodation and travel throughout your contract. Job Responsibilities Requirements: A proven track record of acting experience in theatre (previous credits preferred) Good singing skills An ability to interpret scripts effectively and convey emotions convincingly Punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic as part of an ensemble cast Excellent communication skills both on-stage and off-stage A strong presence in front of the audience with excellent improvisational abilities is preferred A degree in Drama, Performing Arts or a related field is beneficial but not essential; passion is key! A willingness to travel for rehearsals/performances when required A full driving licence is advantageous as we need at least one tour driver per tour
