Description:The AtelierCité allows young professional actors to calmly explore their artistic desires, to understand the realities of the performing arts professions and to join the public theatre network.Every two years, a troupe of eight performing artists is invited to share the life of the theatre for fifteen months. Hired under a professionalization contract, they fully experience all aspects of their profession. Accompanied by the person in charge of the program, they work closely with the theatre departments (production, technical, public relations, communication). Their activity is structured around 3 main axes: — the creation of a show under the direction of a guest director or the artist director, with performances at the ThéâtredelaCité and on tour — creative projects led by guest artists, which give rise to public presentations. — cultural mediation actions and artistic education projects in the region At the end of their fifteen-month residency, the actors join a network of artistic teams with whom they can work later. They also benefit from the sponsorship of the ThéâtredelaCité, which is committed to supporting, producing and distributing artistic projects alongside them. Pre-program 25-26 Creation of a show directed by Galin Stoev, artist-director, performances at the ThéâtredelaCité and on tour Creation workshops led by guest artists, including: Chloé Dabert (Comédie de Reims) Simon Falguières (Compagnie Le K) Bruno Geslin (Compagnie La Grande Mêlée) Creation of an in situ project with Théodore Oliver and Chloé Sarrat (MégaSuperThéâtre) Workshop exploring contemporary dramatic writing led by Sébastien Bournac (Compagnie Tabula Rasa) Cultural mediation projects Employment conditions The actors benefit from a 450-hour Operational Preparation for Employment (POE): 3 months full-time from September to December and France Travail compensation according to each person's socio-professional criteria. Then they are hired under a professionalization contract (remuneration at the minimum wage) for a period of 12 months full time. The creative projects under the direction of guest artists represent 450 hours within the framework of Operational Preparation for Employment and 855 hours within the framework of the professionalization contract (834 hours of practice and 21 hours of assessment). Combined with the creative periods (rehearsals and exploitation of the show) and the cultural mediation projects, the AtelierCité troupe is engaged full-time for 15 months.
