Kerman produces the work of Sébastien Ly as well as the Krossing Over Festival in Vietnam. The choreographer's work unfolds like a rhizome. Based on specific themes which are the subject of work cycles lasting several years (The Parcel Body, Living Memories, Inhabiting the World and today Constellations), Sébastien Ly develops his choreographic gesture on different media: theater sets, museums, heritage places and nourishes his artistic research through a practice of writing, drawing and photography regularly published by Editions Carnets Livres.

Within the same cycle, he creates various forms that can range from a five-minute face-to-face meeting to proposals lasting several hours in museums and also more traditional formats for the stage. He regularly collaborates with writers, visual artists and chefs. His choreographic research is based on proprioception (sensations sent back by the body) and perception (the 5 senses). The body becomes the crucible of the world and dance the link between interior movements and the world in which they resonate and unfold.

In 2023 he created SIDERAL show for two live musicians and the two aerialists Kamma Rosenbeck and Mélusine Lavinet-Drouet.

Choreographer Sébastien Ly is looking for a dancer-actor or an acro-dancer to create a solo for young audiences. His choreographic research is focused on proprioception and the deployment of movement from the inside to the outside in an interaction with the senses (touch, light and sound), and will bring into play the dimension of voice and song.
Description of the profile sought
For two days of meetings, he will invite ten male performers wishing to explore the choreographer's gestures. Throughout this project, which deals with the creative force in children and its persistence in adults, Sébastien Ly is accompanied by the playwright Youness Anzane.
