At National Centre for Circus Arts we strongly believe that circus brings a wide range of benefits to all those who participate. We have the ambition to make circus as accessible to as many young people as possible and we will continue to do this through our work with schools and in the community. We are looking to recruit an Access and Participation Manager (maternity cover), who will develop the Widening Participation (WP) and Outreach programmes in line with the National Centre’s strategic aims.

You will be a confident communicator and creative problem solver with experience in developing and implementing projects for schools and community groups. As a member of the Participation team, you will work in partnership with all areas of the organisation and in particular, members of the Professional Development strand, ensuring the continuity and connectivity of the ‘learner experience’ through WP, Outreach, London Youth Circus (LYC) and Centre for Advanced Training (CAT), into other areas of training within the National Centre.

Salary: £28k (pro-rata)

Hours of work: Maternity Contract, 9 – 12 months

Part time 21 hours per week

Occasional evening and weekends may be required

Holiday Entitlement: 30 days paid holiday per annum, inclusive of eight Statutory Bank Holidays, increasing by one day for each year of service from 1st September up to a maximum of 35 days per annum.

Please note that the successful candidate must be available to start in June 2021.
