Storyline: Two down and out casting directors languishing in small town Las Vegas looking to get back into Hollywood’s good graces, one hemorrhoid commercial or male erectile dysfunction ad at a time. DANA — 20s-30s. African-American or Mixed Ethnicity Female. Recurring character. Perennial local actress, shows up for every audition– and somehow usually perfect for the role. She’s confident, ambitious, and adaptable. But she’s also a local drug dealer and celebrity-chaser. MAE — 40-60s Caucasian, Female. Series Regular: Mother to the casting assistant. Very single. A local actress who’s been on the verge of her big break for the better part of 30 years. She’s a day-drinker, but has some un-crossable lines. ROGER — 20s-30s. Recurring character. Self-doubt (even self-hatred) personified. TALL ACTRESS – 20-30s. Recurring character. Must be 5’10” or taller. Awkward. Desperate. Starts off timid, but grows (some) self-confidence.
