Description:2 x Black Female Singers, VICTORYUSCloses: 29th November 2022 Location: London Type: Part time Salary: Paid (£10k-15k pro rata) Artform: music, theatre Contact: Rachel [email protected] Description We are looking for 2 black female singers who can harmonise (2 sopranos or 1 soprano and 1 mezzo/alto) to play charcters aged approximately 15 years of age for a Lovers Rock/Reggae style musical theatre development project. Singers can actually be any female adult who can carry the role, so some acting ability is required. This assignment requires applicants to perform 1 minute of script and 2 minute extract of a song and backing vocals for a 2 minute song. Singers must be available for 1 x 1hr rehearsal at the end of November - time to be confrmed and on morning Friday 2nd December for 1 hour (not including travel time) for a presentation in Central London. Singers will not be expected to learn words by heart and will have words on the day. The project is the start of a long term development project.
