PRIZE scholarship of a value of € 1000 valid for training or artistic creation and research in the form of cost reimbursements to cover documented and repayable costs.

REQUIREMENTS

Open: minimum age 14 years / free participation

Under 35 Pro: minimum age 18 maximum 35 years

SELECTION CRITERIA

By the artistic direction of the competition

Juggling and manipulation of objects in all forms even in combination with other circus disciplines as long as no prevailing

Innovation of techniques, styles and tools

Open: single jugglers or duo or trio

Under 35 Pro: single jugglers

RESULTS 2nd September 2018 with admission to final evening of minimum 2 candidates for Open category and minimum 4 candidates for Under 35 Pros category

COMPETITION Saturday 8th September 2018 at 21:00 in Teatro Sociale - 4 Bartolomeo Colleoni street, Bergamo, Italy.

CONDITIONS

Minors accompanied by parent / guardian

Tech Rider: white lighting and audio, stage 8 x 6 meters with 2-3% slope

Duration of act from 4 to 8 minutes

Fire use is not permitted in any form

Check in at the Teatro Sociale on 8 September 2018 at 15:00 for meeting and technical rehearsals, under penalty of exclusion from the competition

EVALUATION CRITERIA The jury will evaluate each performance based on technical level, artistic skills and presentation with a specific focus on innovation

Alessandro Serena (Professor of History of the Circus and Street Show at the University of Milan)

Raffaele De Ritis (Circus historian and director)

HOSPITALITY overnight and dinner on 8 September 2018 at reception facilities provided by the organization

REFUND TRAVEL EXPENSES € 0.25 / km providing supporting documentation with a minimum of € 100 and maximum of € 200 for Open category or € 300 for Under 35 Pros category

Prepare to Present:

Duration of juggling act from 4 to 8 minutes
