Valentina is a circus artist from Chile, now based in Bristol. She specializes in static trapeze, foot-juggling and integrating these techniques. Currently she is focused on creating performance in which the audience members are active collaborators, both during the process of creation and the performance itself.
Since graduating Circomedia (BA) in 2018 Valentina co-funded The Bull in a China Shop Project with Fiona Salisbury to support each other in their circus research and performance. As a part of this project the first draft of her solo show Many Hands Makes Light Work was created; a performance in the dark, solely lit by 60 flashlights combining trapeze, juggling, spoken word and audience integration
Valentina has also toured with Citrus Arts for their outdoor show Shipwrecks, performed in various festivals and events across the UK and is a teacher for Circomedia and Citrus Arts.
