Stephanie Jansen

I’m originally from Germany, where I graduated with a Degree in Education, Physical Education, and Sports Science with an emphasis on “Dance” from the University of Cologne. Throughout my performing years, I worked as a featured dancer and aerialist for various shows, resorts, and cruise lines. During that time, I took on the management roles of Dance Captain, Stager, and Company Manager. I later joined Royal Caribbean Productions as Rehearsal Director. 

In 2014, I transitioned to Celebrity Cruises as a Dance and Acrobatic Casting Specialist, where I was responsible for casting and hiring high-level dance and acrobatic talent.  I spend the first couple of years building my network to circus schools, festivals, and also agents all around the world. My goal was or is, to not only find the best talent at sea but the best talent in general. I thoroughly enjoyed casting but throughout the years, I took on more roles in production and eventually moved to management. I still oversee casting in addition to managing the rehearsal process, studio operation, artistic integrity, costume creation, and design and new show development.
